Introduction #

This project currently takes the approach of replacing the OEM screen from the RTI unit with an aftermarket LCD. As of now, this is the recommended way for upgrading your system.

However, you can also choose a completely different path. What you connect to the HDMI port of the Raspberry Pi is up to you afterall.

Display Mod #

Below you can see how the Mod looks like. It uses a custom 3D printed frame to secure all components in place and by using the flexible flat ribbon cables a reliable operation is guaranteed.
